Private Driver to Yala, Sri Lanka
Leopards, elephants, sloth bears — Sri Lanka's premier safari park.
Yala National Park has the highest density of leopards anywhere on earth. The park covers nearly 1,000 km² of scrubland, lagoons, and beaches along Sri Lanka's south-east coast. Half-day or full-day safaris run in open 4×4 jeeps. We can pick you up from your hotel, deliver you to your safari guide, and continue to the next destination after.

FAQ — Yala private driver
What time should the safari start?
The park gates open at 6am. If you're after leopards, you want to be at the gate when it opens. Our drivers can have you at the entrance by 5:45am from any nearby hotel.
Should I book a half-day or full-day safari?
Half-day (4 hr) is enough for most people. Full-day (8 hr) is harder physically but gives you the best chance of multiple leopard sightings. We can arrange both with trusted guides.
When is Yala closed?
Block 1 closes annually for around 6 weeks in Sep-Oct for park maintenance. The other blocks stay open. We'll let you know if your dates clash.
